Covenant Job Seekers Networking Group

In it's first year, Covenant's  Job Seekers Professional Networking Group has already had 7 successful "landings"! Networking works!

If you have experienced a lay-off, are under-employed, forced to take "early retirement" or are nervous about job security, this small group may be for you. It will be very helpful to recent college grads, too! This  is an free program designed to provide educational, spiritual and networking support. It is open to job seekers and career changers without regard to religious preference.

Recent topics have included resume writing, interview strategies, mock interviews, networking, career assessment, managing finances during a job search, interim jobs, and making the most of a job fair. 

Our small group is geared toward professional, administrative, technical and managerial folks who are polishing their job seeking skills and sharing their experiences and their networks to help each other. Typically we meet from 6:30-8:00 PM on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Upcoming meetings are:

August 4 - Age Issues in the Job Search
August 18 - Organizing your Job Search
September 1 - Polishing your Resume
